WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
​
The weather in Mexico City is one of its many highlights, and early December is an especially lovely time to visit. Expect mild, comfortable temperatures ranging from the low 40s in the mornings to the low 70s during the day, with little chance of rain.
​
During the evening, we expect the temperature to be in the 50s.
​

WILL I NEED MEXICAN PESOS?
​
It doesn't hurt to have some small bills if you intend to take public transportation or visit street vendors/markets while you're in town. International travelers arriving in Mexico City can conveniently exchange currency at the airport. Otherwise, you can rely on most businesses to take credit cards.

WHAT TRAVEL DOCUMENTS DO I NEED?
​
U.S. citizens do not need a visa to visit Mexico City for a short stay. However, ensure your passport is valid through at least June 6, 2026 (or six months beyond your travel dates). Without a valid passport, you may face entry or re-entry issues.
​

HOW DO I GET AROUND?
​
Make sure to bring comfortable shoes, as Mexico City is very walkable, especially in the areas where we’ll be celebrating. For added convenience, download the Uber app and our custom Mexico City Google Map (located on the "Things to Do" tab) to easily navigate the city during your stay! We strongly recommend Uber over taxis.

A NOTE ON TRAFFIC...
​
While destinations may seem close, traffic in Mexico City can be heavy, especially during peak hours (8-10 AM and 5-7 PM). We recommend always budgeting extra time to get
anywhere by car, even in addition to what Uber says the time will be!

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?
​​
This will be an adults-only weekend. We hope this gives you the opportunity to enjoy the celebration to its fullest! If you are coming to Mexico City with kids and need childcare, please reach out—we would be happy to help arrange it.

CAN YOU ELABORATE ON THE DRESS CODE?
​
On Thursday, come as you are.
On Friday, come slightly better than you usually are.
​
On Saturday, we're going for "Elegant Garden Party."

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
​
Both! There will be heaters outdoors if needed.

HOW DO I GET TO AND FROM THE EVENTS?
​
On Thursday and Friday, please plan to either walk to/from or Uber to/from the events. On Saturday, shuttles will be provided to/from the wedding venue at two locations: the Marriott Reforma in Juárez and the Andaz in Condesa. Shuttle start and end times are TBA.
